how it works

We conduct diagnostic assessments to identify learning, behavioural, social and emotional challenges.

Everyone’s journey is different and we’ll guide you through each step.

Step 1: contact thegrowspace

No matter your situation – challenges with school or work, an educator or health professional has recommended getting an assessment, or you have a hunch – the first step is to contact us. There’s always value in contacting us to discuss any concerns you may have, as there is never any harm in seeking support and guidance.

Step 2: book an assessment

As our team is dedicated to conducting assessments full time, thegrowspace has availability Monday-Friday to accommodate your busy schedule.

Once your assessment has been booked we will send you your intake information with any additional details you may require.

Step 3: the assessment

We work with you during the assessment and value your input.  We take an active approach to gather as much information as possible, using any existing examinations or assessments you have. During our initial consultation we will discuss your history as well as strengths and weaknesses to ensure your assessment is tailored to your needs.

Once the assessment is complete we will provide you with a list of actionable recommendations which can guide your next steps to acquiring the best interventions and supports.

No matter what course your journey takes, we’re here to support you.

what makes us different

Here at thegrowspace we value delivering comprehensive assessments. We look at each individual as exactly that, individual. Rather than keeping our lens narrow and putting each person in the box of a certain type of assessment, we like to approach each assessment broadly. Our broader approach allows us consider all facets of you. We are able to factor in your cognitive abilities and academic performance, mental health history and potential social and behavioural challenges.
